·    French Government Scholarship(2006) for pursuing Summer internship at 

     ENST Bretagne, France in the field of Turbo- codes.

·    Williamson Magor Scholarship for the period 2005-2007 for pursuing B.Tech 

     in Electronics & Communication Engineering at IIT Guwahati with an

     excellent academic record.

·    Institute Merit Scholarship for being Department Topper (2003-2004).

·    Merit Scholarship by Govt. of Assam (India), for performance in Class-XII

     (2003).

·    Selected for National Merit Scholarship, Govt. of India for School/ University

     toppers (2003).

 

ACHIEVEMENTS:

 

·    THIRD PRIZE, Digital Circuit Designing Contest, Chip , Techniche 2005, IITGuwahati (India, 2005)

·    JUNIOR MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD  (1999-2000), All India Rank(AIR)-34.

·    Represented North-East Region  at NATIONAL JAWAHARLAL NEHRU SCIENCE EXHIBITION (India, 1999) with my project-‘Eco-friendly usage of Polythene’ . The project was ranked 1ST  in North-East Region

·    Selected in the Aptitude Test of KVPY, a program organized by IISc and Department of Science & Technology, India. 

 

RECOGNITIONS:

 

·   Invited by MHRD to meet President of India at the Republic Day (26 January,

    2004) as a recognition of my performance in Class-XII (AISSCE-2003).

·   Awarded certificate of merit in English for being among  top 0.01% students   

    both in Class-XII and Class-X.
